You are going to have fun with rebuilding it. I will give you advice. If you see water stains thats only about 10% of the area thats bad. Trust me , thats from my experence. Another thing you must do is to take as many pictures as you can. Believe me you will go back many times to see something. I got my Scotty and the first thing I did after sweeping it out was take pictures. I took picture of every nook and cranny , even underneath. I probably took between 25-50 before I took the first screw out. And I take before and after pictures. I take one each time I take something off to remember what it looked like. Another thing, save all scrap pieces until you have the new pieces made and installed if possible. There was many times I went back to the Aristocrat scrap pile looking at something. I put cabinets and such on it that I actually went back for patterns. I put most of it in the dry. I will do the same with the scotty. And last keep all the pieces, screws, etc in little plastic bags and write what the parts are on the bag.
I created a group for vintage campers, teardrops ,etc for here in Tennessee. Its at http://groups.msn.com/Tennesseevintagecampers/_whatsnew.msnw

There is a guy on those two msn sites by the name of Rob. He has one of the nicest Teardrop/cabin cars I have ever seen. He has a bathtub and toilet in one.
Thats what got me the idea of a bathroom in my Scotty. It is my second one restoring it. But I have repaired stuff for years.
http://www.singletonsrv.com/index.htm Has a lot of older stuff. Usually you write what you want and they reply back in a few days.
http://www.rvsurplussalvage.com/ is a really good place to shop and cheap. But be warned call them instead of ordering off the web. Thier shipping over the web is over priced. I confronted them on it and they said that the web page did that for some reason. They said contact them direct and they would give you a better price. So get the price of shipping before you give a credit card number.
Don't forget Ebay. I got a control that was new for my stove for about 10 bucks.
If I can help you some way let me know. I have way too many links to remeber so just ask.
